Back up and transfer your work

Move charts, suites, and collections between computers with .fretly bundles.

A .fretly bundle is a single file containing your work — handy for moving between your studio computer and laptop, or for backups.

  • Export everything: Account page → Data → Export workspace.
  • Export a folder or chart: right-click it → Export….
  • Import: drag a .fretly file onto the app, or Account → Data →

Import .fretly file.

On import you choose how to handle duplicates — skip, replace, or add as copy — so nothing is lost.
